2020 Candler School of Theology Graduate, Digital Chaplain for The On Being Project
In this episode, Amy shares her journey from Candler to her new role of Digital Chaplaincy. Amy allows us to reflect on what makes us whole in our entrepreneurial pursuits.
About Amy
As Digital Chaplain, Amy serves as the central “listening organ” of On Being, creating and curating content that serves as doorways — into the rich archive of On Being’s offerings, and into the lives of our constellation of listeners.
Amy’s formation for this unique role comes from a textured background of experience at the intersections of public health, theology, and the arts. Her particular interest in accompanying and nurturing the emergent in life’s “between spaces” led her to study at Candler School of Theology. During that time, she interned as a hospital chaplain in adolescent mental health, and with Corrymeela in Northern Ireland alongside the late public theologian, Glenn Jordan.
Amy grew up across a vista of farmland in southeastern Minnesota. An avid explorer, this landscape will always sing home. Music is her second language, which she speaks through the cello. She is the child of teachers, the sibling of ministers, and aunt to her kindred spirit in curiosity and delight.
